Agriculture, forestry and hunting sector is one of the most important national economic sectors. In this sector there are about 21.6% workers of the total employees. In 2018, it contributed in the gross domestic product by 11.5% with constant prices by product at factor cost according to economic activities in year 2017/2018. The agricultural sector achieved growth rate 3.1% in year 2017/2018. CAPMAS issues many specialized statistical publication in different agriculture fields concerning agriculture, fish, animal products adding to the agriculture ownership. The main source is the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation in addition to other organizations.
