Sudan, both people and government, have contributed to the articulation of the post 2015 development agenda, and to the national and regional consultations that were conducted globally and in the Arab states and Africa regions. Through its membership in the United Nations, Sudan has adopted Agenda 2030 and the SDGs in New York in September 2015 and is continuously engaging all stakeholders in peace for the betterment of their lives and to contribute to the development of their country. And with the technical assistance of two UN interagency missions, Sudan have taken practical steps to implement Agenda 2030 and the SDGs through developing technical frames and tools and is working to integrate them into national plans at the federal and State levels, and in the urban and rural localities
